The King and I
The Marriott Theatre
Fabrication of all scenic elements for an in the round production of The King and I. In addition to fourteen rigged "roofs" with integrated LED tape, the design included a custom deck with printed carpet and CNC routed panels surrounding the entire audience.
Project duration: 8 weeks for fabrication; 1 week for installation

Conference Staging
Kansas City Municipal Auditorium
The general session staging, part of a larger conference and event, was designed to create a more traditional theatre setting in a large arena. While the stage and proscenium remained for all three sessions held in the venue, the scenery and backdrops were changed. Part of the fabrication process included a full test set up of all major scenic elements.
Project duration: ~8 months for design and fabrication, as part of a larger conference; 2 weeks on site for installation, supervision and strike

MillerCoors Brand Experiences
Fall Distributor Meeting
MillerCoors brought Crosstown on to develop and fabricate brand experiences for several newly acquired craft breweries during a breakout of the National Beer Wholesalers Association fall meeting. Four brewery specific areas, a central bar, and several other smaller stations were installed within the hour leading up to the event, the only time allowed in the venue. The components were designed to be disassembled and reused for later events.
